A convenient, fun and safe way to challenge yourself and hike large sections of the Bruce Trail
In addition to their regular hiking programs, each of our nine Bruce Trail Clubs offers special end-to-end and challenge hikes each year.
Usually, these events run over 1 or 2 weekends, with the Club often providing transportation options and water/snack stations along the way. Registration fees are in effect and you'll receive a unique Club section badge at the end of the event.
If you are new to hiking, these events are NOT recommended. Instead, please refer to the regular hike calendar for a selection of hikes ranging from 1.5 hrs to 4 hrs.
Looking for shorter organized hikes?
Our Bruce Trail Clubs offer more than 1500 hikes each year for BTC members.

Please join us for our annual self-led End-to-End hike. Enjoy the history and scenery of the Toronto Club section by completing the 50 km distance over both Saturday and Sunday. You will hike approximately 28 km on Saturday and 22 km on Sunday.
Buses depart on both days at 7:45 am sharp from the predetermined location in Limehouse to bring all participants to the start of the hike. There is no leader. There will be checkpoints every 10-11 km, with volunteers providing some snacks, water and assistance. Official End-to-End badges are awarded on completion.
This is an event for experienced hikers as the terrain is varied and quite challenging and hikes will go rain or shine. The hike will be completed independently and at your own pace, but it is expected that participants will be able to finish by 4:00 pm.
The fee for the two-day event is $40 plus any fees associated with Eventbrite. Registration information will become available on, or shortly after April 15. There will be no cheques or cash accepted on either day of the event. Tickets must be purchased in the name of the participant. Registration deadline is May 17, 2020. If you require more information, please contact Jacquie Van Dyke (End to End co-ordinator) at Torontoe2e@gmail.com on or after March 1. Space on the hikes will be limited so please check this page and the Toronto Bruce Trail Club website (torontobrucetrailclub.org) regularly.
