We’re bringing the Trail to you!

Throughout the year, the Bruce Trail Conservancy and its nine Bruce Trail Clubs enjoy participating in community events in and around the Niagara Escarpment. Stop by our booth to learn about the Bruce Trail, pick up maps and other BTC merchandise, and chat with our team.

The Bruce Trail Conservancy will be returning to the Hamilton Adventure Expo for the second time! We will have our booth setup, so come over and say hi, as well as Adam Brylowskie will be speaking about the Bruce Trail! For further details you can go to their website.

The Iroquoia Bruce Trail Club is excited to be at the Connon Nurseries Winter Market this year. 

Come find us on January 24th, February 21st, and March 21st between 10 am and 2 pm. Here’s your chance to purchase some IBTC branded merchandise, or stop for a chat and share your trail stories. We’re always thrilled to meet fellow trail enthusiasts.

Beaver Valley Bruce Trail Club, Sydenham Bruce Trail Club and Peninsula Bruce Trail Club are excited to return to the Owen Sound Pride Parade and Big Gay Block Party in Owen Sound on June 13th, 2026. 

Join us to celebrate Pride month! Drop by our booth in downtown Owen Sound from 3-7 p.m. to introduce yourself and learn more about hikes, conservation and volunteer opportunities.

Beaver Vally and Sydenham Clubs have joined forces to attend the Multicultural Celebration for the first time! For more information visit thier website ymcaowensound.on.ca/multicultural-celebration.

The Multicultural Celebration is a free, family-friendly event showcasing the rich diversity of our community. Hosted by the YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce, with generous support from the Town of The Blue Mountains, this vibrant event brings people together through food, music, art, and cultural expression from around the world. Last year’s celebration in Saugeen Shores welcomed over 800 attendees, and we’re looking forward to another fantastic turnout in 2026.

Interested in becoming an Outreach Volunteer?

Volunteers make these events possible. If you love the Bruce Trail and enjoy sharing that love with others, we’d like to meet you!

Outreach Volunteers promote the Bruce Trail Conservancy, encourage supporters, and sell memberships and merchandise by staffing an information booth at a community event, trade show (like the Outdoor Adventure Show), or BTC-hosted event. Volunteers receive training and generally work with at least one other experienced volunteer or staff member.
