Maps 28-35 – Sydenham – Section closed due to ice storm damage – PARTIALLY LIFTED

ORIGINAL POST April 4, 2025:
The entire Sydenham section of the Bruce Trail is now temporarily closed due to hazardous conditions caused by the ice storm on March 29-30. This closure includes the main Bruce Trail and all associated side trails between Blantyre and Wiarton.

Please note that this is in addition closures in several areas from Dufferin Hi-Land northwards listed here https://brucetrail.org/trail_changes/icestorm.

Our Trail Maintenance volunteers are working hard to assess and clear the debris. For your safety, please avoid this section until further notice. This closure may last a few weeks until our volunteer crews can attend to all the damage.
