Map 19 – Caledon Hills – Whitetail Refuge, reroute

At BTC’s Whitetail Refuge Nature Reserve, a segment of the main Bruce Trail has been permanently rerouted and the Springwater Side Trail has been reopened with a slight change to its configuration.
New Main Trail Reroute = 190 metres
Decommissioned Main Trail = 180 metres (not displayed on map)
Springwater Side Trail = 370 metres
This trail change is in support of a stream restoration project at the BTC’s Whitetail Refuge Nature Reserve (learn more about the restoration project here).
