Maps 29-30 – Sydenham – Bognar Marsh to Bayview Escarpment, closure due to ice storm damage

The main Bruce Trail and all side trails from the south end of Bognar Marsh (km 27.0) to the north end of Bayview Escarpment Provincial Nature Reserve (km 52.7) are temporarily closed due to hazardous conditions caused by the ice storm on March 29-30.
Please note that this is in addition to the similar closures of the Blue Mountains and Dufferin Hi-Land sections further south (Craigleith to Mono Centre).
Our Trail Maintenance volunteers are working hard to assess and clear the debris, but for your safety, please avoid this section until further notice. This closure may last a few weeks until our volunteer crews can attend to all the damage.
