Youth Council Executive Committee Application

Thank you for your interest in joining the Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC) Youth Council Executive Committee and helping to lead the BTC Youth Council.

Roles: The Executive Committee is seeking to fill three roles for 2023-24:

• Promotions and Social Media Lead (see position description)
• Events Lead: in-person and virtual events (see position description)
• Hike Coordinator (see position description)

Please review the position descriptions before applying.

Commitment: Executive Committee members are expected to attend two Zoom meetings per month, held on Sunday evenings at 7:00 pm, and will also need to give an additional 5-10 hours a month to their role. Executive Committee members will remain in their roles for the entire season (mid-August to May), and break for the summer at the end May. A new Executive Committee will then be selected in late summer/early fall for the next year. 

Deadline: Applications for 2023-24 are due by end of day August 13, 2023.

If you are not selected this year for an Executive Committee role, you’ll be invited to participate as a General Council member. There will be more opportunities for involvement as the year goes on.
