Maps 24-28 – Beaver Valley – reopened sections as of May 5 2025

Beaver Valley Section: Reopened Side Trails (May 5, 2025)
The Beaver Valley Bruce Trail Club has re-opened three more side trails.
Though they remain muddy (as is usual for this time of year) the following side trails are now OPEN:
– Wodehouse Karst Side Trail
– Stone Foundation Side Trail
– Fairmount Side Trail
Remaining Closed Area:
The Allan Shortcut Side Trail and main Bruce Trail from Epping John Muir Lookout parking lot (km 94.3) to bridge at km 100.4 remain closed due to abnormal flooding, unrelated to the ice storm.
Hikers can access the Main Trail at km 100.4 from roadside parking at intersection of Sideroad 22C and 3rd Line C (Map 27) via Siegerman Access Side Trail.
