ORIGINAL POST April 3, 2025:
The main Bruce Trail and all side trails from the Beaver Valley/Blue Mountains boundary at Swiss Meadows Road (km 0.0) to the southern end of Old Baldy (km 46.4) are temporarily closed due to hazardous conditions caused by the ice storm on March 29-30.

Please note that this is in addition to the similar closures of northwest of the valley and in several areas from Dufferin Hi-Land northwards listed here https://brucetrail.org/trail_changes/icestorm.

Our Trail Maintenance volunteers are working hard to assess and clear the debris, but for your safety, please avoid this section until further notice. This closure may last a few weeks until our volunteer crews can attend to all the damage.
