Maps 21-24 – Blue Mountains – reopened sections as of May 1, 2025

Blue Mountains Section: Ice Storm Repair Update and Reopened Sections (May 1, 2025)

Thanks to continued hard work from volunteers, the Blue Mountains Club has successfully re-opened the entire Main Trail in the section (Lavender to Craigleith) except for two short stretches.

These stretches of Main Trail remain closed:
(km references from The Bruce Trail Reference, Edition 31)

– km 61.5 to 64.3: Scenic Caves
– km 66.0 to 67.1: Top of Blue Mountain Resort

The following Side Trails remain closed until further notice:

– Hamilton Bros. Side Trail
– Keyhole Side Trail
– Nottawasaga Lookout Side Trail (Bridge repair needed as well)
– Mad River Side Trail

– Standing Rock & Caves Side Trail
– Petun Side Trail

– Swiss Meadows
– Mission Road Side Trail Bridge repair needed as well)
