A wooden footbridge across Battlefield Creek on the Bruce Trail in Hamilton is being rebuilt and will be inaccessible until approximately September 30. The rebuild may go on longer depending on weather conditions.

The Bruce Trail remains open in the area and hikers may cross Battlefield Creek over the rocks that were placed in a nearby shallow area.
