ORIGINAL POST April 4, 2025:
The main Bruce Trail and all side trails from Old Baldy (km 46.4) to Sideroad 7A (km 82.4) are temporarily closed due to hazardous conditions caused by the ice storm on March 29-30.

Together with earlier closures, this means that the entire Beaver Valley section of the Bruce Trail is currently closed. See the affected zone (and associated Bruce Trail Reference maps) in the image above.

Our Trail Maintenance volunteers are working hard to assess and clear the debris, but for your safety, please avoid this section until further notice. This closure may last a few weeks until our volunteer crews can attend to all the damage.
