The side trails within Mono Cliffs Provincial Park are no longer be part of the Bruce Trail network. The trails will continue to be maintained by Ontario Parks and retain their park names and trail markers. The Bruce Trail blazing, naming and signage have been removed.
This will simplify the trail marking and navigation on site for hikers.
This affects the trails with these former side trail names :
* Lookout Side Trail
* Walter Tovell Side Trail
* Carriage Side Trail
* South Outlier Connector
* South Outlier Loop Trail
* McCarston’s Lake Side Trail
Whitetail Refuge Side Trail and Laidlaw Side Trail remain unchanged and part of the Bruce Trail network as they both continue outside the boundaries of Mono Cliffs Provincial Park.
