The BTC is excited to invite you to our Spring Bioblitz. If you are a budding naturalist or an expert, we would love for you to come out and join us (rain or shine) on one of the following dates:
- Saturday May 9, 2026, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Meltwater Moraine
Caledon Hills section, Caledon East, ON - Saturday June 6, 2026, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Eagle’s Summit Nature Reserve
Beaver Valley section, Kimberley, ON
Why join?

How it works
Choose from several themed groups led by a member of staff or volunteer. Each group will have a Group Lead, specialist of a particular subject and will help you identify and log species on the iNaturalist app. To make this Bioblitz a success, we need Citizen Science volunteers to identify species across a variety of groups, including plants, birds, insects, fungi and more!
Why Volunteer?
Your expertise will help ensure accurate data collection and inspire others to appreciate the incredible diversity around the Bruce Trail. All identifications will need to be submitted to the Bruce Trail Conservancy project via iNaturalist.
