Map 9 – Iroquoia – Controlled Burn at Fisher’s Pond Nature Reserve, Temporary Closure – LIFTED

This closure is no longer in effect as of April 13, 2023.

The main Bruce Trail from Springer Crescent to Guelph Line, as well as the Fisher’s Pond Side Trail, will be closed for a single day, April 12, 2023, due to a controlled burn taking place at Fisher’s Pond Nature Reserve. Staff and/or volunteers will be stationed at access points on the day of the controlled burn to inform hikers of the trail closure.

Smoke may persist in the area for up to 48 hours after the burn.
