Map 8 – Iroquoia – Chedoke stairs, Temporary Closure

Date Effective: Aug. 21, 2023 | Map 8, Edition 31

The Chedoke Stairs in Hamilton will be closed August 21 to August 25, 2023 as City of Hamilton crews install new lighting fixtures to illuminate the pathway. There will be no access to the stairs from the top (via the Robert McLaren Side Trail) nor at the bottom (via the Bruce Trail) for the duration of these repairs.

Hikers may wish to take the Chedoke Radial Trail east from Chedoke Golf Course to where it rejoins the Bruce Trail to avoid this temporary closure.
