Map 37/38 – Peninsula – Reroute, Barrow Bay

At long last, a 6.5 km unbroken thoroughfare has been instilled both above and below the Barrow Bay cliffs while a lengthy 6.5 km of road walking has been abandoned.

A staircase built by BTC trail workers has bridged the elevation of the Escarpment allowing hikers to ascend from the lower Barrow Bay shoreline to the top of the Barrow Bay cliffs.  

This is truly something to celebrate.
