The Bruce Trail Conservancy has joined forces with LEAF, Nature Conservancy of Canada, and Ontario Power Generation in the League of Trees

Together we are growing and protecting forests across Ontario and fighting climate change.

The Bruce Trail Conservancy cares for thousands of acres of forest along the Niagara Escarpment and work every year to protect more forests, and other important habitats from development or degradation.

The Bruce Trail Conservancy is one of Ontario’s largest and most active land trusts. We acquire land – through purchase or donation – in our mission to establish a conservation corridor along the Niagara Escarpment that can be explored along the Bruce Trail.

The Bruce Trail Conservancy protects and stewards forests by:

  • Establishing protected natural areas along the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere
  • Creating natural corridors for wildlife
  • Planting trees
  • Restoring former tree plantations
  • Monitoring and removing invasive species
  • Identifying and monitoring Species-at-Risk

What you can do to help Ontario's League of Trees:

Support forest conservation with a donation:

Your donation to the BTC today can protect forests and other precious Niagara Escarpment habitats. You will be taking a meaningful and lasting conservation action while making a protected Niagara Escarpment available for generations to enjoy along the Bruce Trail.

Become a BTC member:

Join our membership community and help ensure the future of the Bruce Trail. Memberships support your local Bruce Trail Club and our work to steward the Trail and our protected natural areas.
