A convenient, fun and safe way to challenge yourself and hike large sections of the Bruce Trail
In addition to their regular hiking programs, each of our nine Bruce Trail Clubs offers special end-to-end and challenge hikes each year.
Usually, these events run over 1 or 2 weekends, with the Club often providing transportation options and water/snack stations along the way. Registration fees are in effect and you'll receive a unique Club section badge at the end of the event.
If you are new to hiking, these events are NOT recommended. Instead, please refer to the regular hike calendar for a selection of hikes ranging from 1.5 hrs to 4 hrs.
Due to the changing situation surrounding COVID-19, End-to-End hikes may be postponed or cancelled.
2020 End-to-End Hikes
May 16-18, 2020 - CANCELLED due to COVID-19 concerns
September 12-13 and 19-20, 2020
The annual Iroquoia Club End to End consists of four hikes over two weekends. The section is >122 km long, with the hikes measuring as follows:
- Hike 1: 33.1km (Start @ Sydenham Lookout, end @ Mount Nemo)
- Hike 2: 30.0km (Start @ Appleby Ln & 401, end @ Mount Nemo)
- Hike 3: 32.5km (Start @ Sydenham Lookout, end @ Mohawk 4 Ice)
- Hike 4: 27.2km (Start @ Grimsby end, @ Mohawk 4 Ice)
(Please note, these distances are subject to change due to trail reroutes)
This is a very challenging, but richly rewarding series of hikes. Please be honest with yourself about whether your body is up to this task prior to registration as no refunds will be provided.
Buses depart on all days at 7:30 AM sharp from predetermined locations to take all participants to the start of the hike. Check in is at 7:00 AM.
- First weekend meeting location: Mount Nemo Conservation Area (overflow parking area), 5317 Guelph Line, Milton, ON L9T 2X6.
- Second weekend meeting location: Mohawk 4 Ice Centre, 710 Mountain Brow Blvd. Hamilton, ON L8T 5A9.
Space is limited to the number of people on the bus. There is no leader. Volunteers will be at trailside checkpoints with water and snacks along the way. The hike will be completed independently and at your own pace, but it is expected that participants will be able to finish on all days by 5:00 PM. If your arrival at the second to last checkpoint is too late, you will be asked to withdraw from the remainder of that day's hike. You will still be welcome to return and start any remaining hikes of the event.

Participants must register and pay online. There will be no cash or cheques accept on the day of the event.
The registration fee is $50 ($60 for non-BTC members) for all four hikes, or $15 per day that you wish to hike. The fee covers the cost of transportation, entry to
Mount Nemo Conservation Area for two days, snacks, and the Waterfall badge for those who complete all four hikes. Hikes will go rain or shine.

2020 Toronto Section End-to-End (May 30-31) - CANCELLED
In light of the current pandemic situation and requirements to maintain physical distance, the Toronto End-to-End, scheduled for Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, 2020 has been cancelled.
2021 Toronto Section End-to-End Dates Scheduled - September 11-12, 2021
The Toronto Bruce Trail Club will be hosting the 2021 Toronto End-to-End on Saturday, September 11 and Sunday, September 12.

October 10-12, 2020 Thanksgiving Long Weekend
The Caledon Hills Bruce Trail Club invites you to join us for our 2020 “Fall Colours” End-to-End hike on Thanksgiving weekend.
Plan to participate in one of the most enjoyable and challenging hiking experiences of the year, a 71.4 km hike through the spectacular fall colours of the Caledon Hills. You can complete the distance over all three days of the weekend or the same distance over Saturday and Sunday (two-day event held biennially in even years).
The cost for the three-day event is $40.00 and the two-day event is $30.00. This fee covers daily bus transportation, refreshments, and the end-to-end badge on completion. Payment can be made by cheque or Interac e-Transfer.

2-Day End-to-End - September 26-27, 2020 (postponed from May 9-10)
Join us for two days of hiking the hills of Dufferin County, enjoying the spring flowers and earning your Red Trillium Badge. The hike distance is approximately 28 km per day, with checkpoints providing refreshments and assistance along the way. For registration details visit dufferinbrucetrailclub.org
2020 Blue Mountains End-to-End (May 23 & 24) - CANCELLED due to COVID-19 concerns
2021 Blue Mountains End-to-End - May 29-30, 2021
Considering the current COVID-19 pandemic situation and requirements to maintain physical distance, the Blue Mountains Bruce Trail Club End to End Event scheduled for Saturday, May 23rd and Sunday, May 24th 2020 has been cancelled. We have made this important decision to be proactive, to do our part to support the health care system, and to keep our volunteers and members safe.
Assuming the current situation is resolved, the 2021 End to End will be held on Saturday, May 29th and Sunday, May 30th, 2021.
Details regarding the 2021 event will be posted at an appropriate time on our website at bmbtc.org.
