Cheltenham Badlands to re-open September 22

Cheltenham Badlands Boardwalk

The Bruce Trail Conservancy is pleased to announce that the Cheltenham Badlands will re-open to the public on September 22, 2018.

Since this unique and sensitive area in the Caledon Hills closed in June of 2015 the Ontario Heritage Trust, Credit Valley Conservation, the Town of Caledon, the Region of Peel and Bruce Trail Conservancy have conducted conservation work and site improvements to enhance the visitor experience and preservation of the site.

The property, owned by Ontario Heritage Trust and managed by Credit Valley Conservation, will be ready to welcome visitors on Saturday, September 22. Visitors will be able to enjoy all of the new features onsite, including an accessible boardwalk, upgraded trails, educational and interpretive panels, and public and accessible parking spaces.
