Changes to Conservation Halton Access by BTC Members
Effective July 1, 2010 there will be a change to the access fees for Bruce Trail members at Conservation Halton Parks (Rattlesnake Point, Crawford Lake, Hilton Falls and Mount Nemo).
Visitors arriving by car will be required to pay the regular entrance fee to use the park.
Free access will only be allowed for those Bruce Trail members passing through Conservation Halton parks on foot as part of longer hikes.
Conservation Halton (CH) is also offering discounts on CH Annual Memberships for Bruce Trail Members. This includes a weekday-only CH Annual Membership for $25 per person; or a Full CH Annual Membership for $45/individual or $65/family.
UPDATE (June 11 2010):
When BTC members are involved in trail improvement projects or inspections, volunteers will be provided with free access to park(s) for the associated time period through a permit process. A permit request must be submitted and approved for all volunteer activities on trails in Conservation Halton parks. To request a permit, please contact Shanie Van Rossum (Conservation Halton) at 905-336-1158 ext. 239.
