Film Screenings & Brunch Fundraiser
Gorge Cinema, 43 Mill St W, Elora ON
October 20, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 05:00 PM
Join members and friends of the Caledon Hills Bruce Trail Club for a film screening and brunch in support of the Bruce Trail Conservancy.
The program includes an opening presentation by BTC CEO, Michael McDonald, highlighting precious lands preserved and species at risk protected by the Bruce Trail Conservancy and its volunteers, followed by one of two powerful feature films:
The Woman Who Loves Giraffes - 11:00 am
Dr. Anne Innis Dagg re-traces the steps of her groundbreaking 1956 journey to South Africa to study giraffes in the wild – and discovers a startling contrast between the world of giraffes she once knew and the one it has become.
Jane - 2:00 pm (*new time)
Jane is an intimate portrait of Jane Goodall — a trailblazer who defied the odds to become one of the world’s most admired conservationists.
Special Guest: Andria Teather, CEO, The Jane Goodall Institute of Canada
Andria will set the stage for us to enjoy the film Jane to its fullest and will be available at the end to answer questions.
