Map #36 - Gravelly Point & Malcolm Bluff Side Trail

The Gravelly Point Side Trail is located at the east end of Mallory Beach Rd which runs along the north shore of Colpoy’s Bay. There is a small parking lot (4 - 6 vehicles) located 50 metres from the end of Mallory Beach Rd accessed via a rough logging track. Hikers are reminded to stay on the access road and the trail as this locale abuts a cottage area. The trail offers hikers access to a wide variety of Escarpment geology as well as vistas of Colpoy’s Bay. It is demanding in places with seasonal wet conditions, steep climbs and slippery rocky shore.

The Malcolm Bluff Shortcut Side Trail provides quick access to the Malcolm Bluff Side Trail, allowing for a short loop hike back to the parking area at Wright’s Cres. This side trail creates a 6.7 km loop with the southern portion of the Malcolm Bluff Side Trail, the Purple Valley Access Trail and the main Trail.

Gravelly Point Side Trail = 4.3 km
