Where can I get on the Trail?

There over 300 access points for the Bruce Trail as it follows the natural edge of the Niagara Escarpment from Niagara to Tobermory.

The 895 km main Bruce Trail is marked with white rectangular blazes painted on trees, rocks and posts. An additional 400 km of side trails are marked with blue blazes.

Use The Bruce Trail Reference Guide for finding access points as well as parking.

In the Explore the Trail section of our website, several downloadable introductory loop hikes are listed under each section of the Trail, so you can see just a few of the hikes that are available along the Trail.

Consider joining one of the many hikes organized by one of the nine Bruce Trail Clubs. Some hikes are open to the public and they are a great way to get introduced to the Trail - or a new portion of it - with a knowledgeable hike leader.  Visit individual Club websites for more information about organized hikes.
