Fifty years in the making...

The Bruce Trail Conservancy is celebrating a series of 50th Anniversary milestones between 2012 and 2017.

It is not too late to register. Over 500 people have registered so far, don't miss out on this fantastic event.

On June 9, 2012 volunteers, past and present, are invited to join us to share in 50 years of Bruce Trail memories and the celebration of 50 years of Bruce Trail volunteering.

Program

• Welcome messages
• Toronto Dominion Friends of the Environment Foundation will present the 27^th Edition of the Bruce Trail Reference Guide
• Catered BBQ Lunch
• Dr. Philip Gosling will speak about the early days of the Bruce Trail
• Ian Thomas will play a few songs
• Gather for a historic photograph
• Hikes will leave from the Train Station - Long hike leaves at 2:30, Medium hike leaves at 3:00, Short hike leaves at 3:30 (this schedule may change if necessary)

You will be able to pick up your copy of:

• The 27^th Edition of the Bruce Trail Reference Guide
• Dr. Philip Goslings personal memories of the Bruce Trail: CAN THEY SAVE THIS RIBBON OF WILDERNESS? Personal Stories of Putting The Bruce Trail On The Ground 1962-1963
