Where am I?
Why We Can Find Our Way to the Moon but Get Lost at the Mall
Guest Speaker: Colin Ellard
Thursday May 27, 7 pm
The Assembly Hall (Etobicoke)
Why do some of us get lost in a city landscape, but navigate the Bruce Trail with ease? Why do some of us rely on GPS, while others follow their internal compass?
Join Colin Ellard, professor of psychology at University of Waterloo, for a journey to the frontier of human navigation. Ellard will share his research on the psychology of space, why we humans get lost so easily, and why contact with nature is so good for us.
This is a free event for all BTC Members.
Members are encouraged to bring a
guest and enjoy the evening.
