Niagara Bruce Trail Club Niagara College, Niagara-on-the-Lake campus
Event Details: Participate in a 4-km guided hike of the Wetland Side Trail through vineyards and reclaimed wetlands. The trail offers scenic lookouts over Niagara and views of multi-layered rock formations along the Escarpment. Wine and cheese reception from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
Event Schedule: Hikes every 30 minutes or every hour beginning at noon.
Directions: Meet in the easternmost parking lot of the Glendale Campus of Niagara College. The campus is located off Glendale Avenue East near the intersection of Glendale Avenue East and Taylor Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Exit QEW at Glendale Avenue South (exit 38A). Turn left at first lights (Taylor Road), and then left into the College. |

Iroquoia Bruce Trail Club Kerncliff Park
Event Details: Come and join us for a guided and interpretive loop hike through Burlington's scenic Kerncliff Park. Discover an old quarry that has been rehabilitated into wetlands, walk through a hardwood forest, enjoy a beautiful view of Burlington and Lake Ontario, and learn about the future plans for the park. This event is not suitable for children in strollers or under seven years of age, and persons with walking difficulties. No pets please.
Event Schedule: Hikes depart Kerncliff Park at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm and are 90 minutes in length.
Directions: From Hwy. 5 / Dundas Street, turn south on Kerns Road, just west of Brant Street, and head towards the Escarpment brow. The park and parking lots are located just below the brow on your left.
From QEW/ 403, exit at Brant Street and turn north, turn left onto North Service Road, turn right onto Kerns Road, drive up to the top of the escarpment, the park and parking lot will be on your right.

Event Details: Hikers will be rewarded with views of historic limestone kilns, deep crevices and rock fissures; the chance to see cedars growing at impossible angles as they cling to the side of rocks; scaling two ladders through the famous "Hole in the Wall".
Event Schedule: Short hikes will be available starting at 11:00 am through to 2:00 pm.
Directions: Hwy 401 exit 328 to Trafalgar Rd. North to stop-lights at Hwy 7. Turn left on Hwy 7 to County Rd. 43 and the Limehouse sign. Turn left on Country Rd 43 to Limehouse.
Special Bruce Trail Day Bus Hike from Clarence Square, Toronto to Scotsdale Farm
Event Details: Join us on a trip to scenic Scotsdale Farm, near Georgetown, and enjoy a 10 km guided hike over rolling hills and through woodlands. The hike will begin at 10:00 am and will last about 3 hours. We recommend you bring a lunch and water.
Event Schedule: A bus will pick up passengers at Clarence Square at 9:00 am. Clarence Square is located on Spadina Ave. between Front St. and King St.
The cost of the trip is $5. Space is limited, therefore it is first come, first served at Clarence Square.

Caledon Hills Bruce Trail Club Forks of the Credit Provincial Park
Event Details: At Forks of the Credit Provincial Park, witness the Credit River as it narrows and rushes through a deep gorge, plunging over a falls. Geological features that were deposited or carved out by retreating glaciers, such as kame hills and kettle lakes, surround the river. Stay after your hike and enjoy a terrific barbeque.
Event Schedule:
- 10:00am - 2 hour hike to visit the ruins of the Ring Kiln (car shuttle) (strenuous terrain, slow pace, fascinating ruins)
- 10:30am - 2 hr Hike to the Falls of the Cataract and return (easy hike, slow pace)
- 11:00am - Family and Children's hike (1 hr. easy hike, slow pace)
- 1:00pm - 2 hour Hike to the Falls of the Cataract and return (easy hike, slow pace)
- 1:30pm - 1.5 hour Hike, enjoying the views (easy hike, slow pace)
- 2:00pm - 1 hour scenic autumn walk (easy hike, slow pace)
- 10:00am-1:00pm - GPS Mystery Quest over Fields and Forest (self guided). For medium to advanced GPS users. Moderate terrain. Special Prizes.
Free parking at the Forks of the Credit Provincial Park for all participants of Bruce Trail Day activities.
Directions: The main parking area for Forks of the Credit Provincial Park, off McLaren Rd., 2 km south of Peel Rd # 24. McLaren Rd is 2.75 km west of Highway # 10 at Caledon Village. See Bruce Trail Reference Guide Map # 15.

Dufferin Hi-Land Bruce Trail Club Mono Cliffs Provincial Park
Event Details: Explore the Bruce Trail in the beautiful Mono Cliffs Provincial Park. At Mono Cliffs you'll see crevice caves, an upland limestone plain, and talus slopes. The park features two prominent masses of rock, separated by erosion from the main rock body. Botanists have noted that the local vegetation includes a particularly rich diversity of ferns.
- Kid's Activities: hands-on fun for children under 12. Learn about animals and habitats; build a bird feeder and a kid centered introduction to hiking.
- Refreshments: BBQ hot dogs and sausages, trail day cake cutting around noonish, while supplies last.
- Trail Builders: help build the Bruce, help build a bridge today; join one of our crews to clear trails, blaze paths and sculpt hillsides.
Event Schedule: Hikes leaving every hour from 10am to 3pm
Directions: Follow Hwy 10 north from Orangeville to Camilla. Turn right at Camilla on 15th Side road to village of Mono Centre. Turn right at Mono Centre and follow signs to 3rd Line EHS, Mono. Go north to Mono Cliffs Park entrance and parking lot.

Blue Mountains Bruce Trail Club Swiss Meadows
Event Details: The day features a free interpretive hike at the top of Blue Mountain led by Bruce Trail volunteers. Enjoy the rich fall colours and the magnificent views of the Village and Georgian Bay.
Event Schedule: 10:00am hike starts, two hours at an introductory hike pace. After the hike please join us for refreshments and giveaways.
Directions: From Collingwood, travel west on First Street. Continue through the traffic lights at High Street onto Mountain Road. Continue west on Mountain Road through next set of lights. Turn left on to Scenic Caves Road. Park in the parking lot on the right at Swiss Meadows Road.

Beaver Valley Bruce Trail Club Hoggs Falls Conservation Area
Event Details: Considered one of Grey County's best-kept secrets, Hoggs Falls is tucked away a mere two-minute walk from the Lower Valley Road near Flesherton. At Hoggs Falls, the waters of the Boyne River tumble seven metres in a beautiful cascade surrounded by dense forest. Stay after your hike and enjoy refreshments, snacks and giveaways.
Event Schedule: Short hikes at 1pm & 2pm. Long hike at 1pm.
Directions:
- From Toronto: take Hwy 10 to Flesherton. Turn right on Hwy 4 for abt. 1 km. Turn left on East Back Line. Turn right on Lower Valley Road. Watch for our Signs leading you to the Hoggs Falls Parking Lot.
- From Collingwood and Meaford: proceed to traffic Lights at Goudy Motors in Meaford, turning South on Grey Rd. 7. through the village of Kimberley. You are now on Grey Rd. 13 which takes you to Flesherton. At the corner of Grey Rd. 13 and Hwy 4 turn right. Turn right again at East Back Line and turn right on the Lower Valley Road.

Sydenham Bruce Trail Club The Glen Side Trail
Event Details: Hikers will be sure to enjoy the fall colours as they hike The Glen on the Bruce Trail. The Glen, a former ancient bay of Lake Algonquin, has often been described as a "sea of trees lying between the majestic cliffs of the escarpment". The hike out and back will last 2 hours.
Event Schedule: 1:15 meeting time, 2 hour introductory hike at a moderate pace.
Directions: Meet at 1:15pm at Westside Bowl parking lot. Westside Bowl is located on 10 St. W., west of 9th Ave. W., Owen Sound.

Peninsula Bruce Trail Club Tobermory and Wiarton
Event Details: Starting at the northern terminus cairn of the entire Bruce Trail join us in celebrating the new reroute of the main trail from Tobermory to Little Cove. For those wishing to experience the Bruce Trail nearer to Wiarton come out and hike the unique trail through the beautiful rocks and woods on the Rural Rootz side trail.
Event Schedule: Two hikes at two different locations, all hikes begin at 10am.
Directions: Hike One Tobermory - Meet at Cairn and hike the new section of trail to Little Cove. The Cairn is located on the south-east side of Little Tub Harbour (on Bay Street about 300m east of Hwy. 6)
Hike Two Wiarton - Rural Rocks (Rootz) Side Trail - Parking off of Quarry Road, north of Regional Road 13 (Jenny St.).
