An invitation from our friends at the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System
If you're in the Hamilton area on Sunday, June 11, 2017 make sure to drop by the McQueston High Level Bridge -- the iconic gateway to Hamilton--for a novel community event.
The street is being closed to traffic and people are invited to enjoy the magnificent views of Cootes Paradise, Hamilton Harbour and the Niagara Escarpment from this unique vantage point.
Bring a picnic lunch or take part in various activities being held throughout the afternoon.
There is a gala fundraising dinner in the evening which will raise funds to purchase and protect more land in the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark system.

The Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System is a collaborative initiative of ten local government and non-profit organizations (including the Bruce Trail Conservancy) in the Burlington-Hamilton area, at the southwestern end of Lake Ontario. Together, these partner organizations own or manage almost 1,900 hectares (4,700 acres) of natural lands in this area, and are working together to protect, connect and restore the natural lands, and to deliver sustainable recreation and education opportunities.
